About Mad Academy

Founded by Yellowzine, Mad Academy is a free four-week training programme, in London designed to empower more creatives with the tools and guidance they need to begin and sustainable freelance career. 

 

Open to all ages, Mad Academy is for those who have at least two years experience within the creative industry (can be full time, part-time or as a side-hustle), and are at the beginning of their freelance journey.

Yellowzine has been described as the Yellow pages for creatives of colour. We are a creative studio, print and online platform that centralises artwork by ethnic minority creatives. We are committed to supporting the contemporary movement for the progression of art by African, Caribbean and Asian diaspora artists.
